From January to July 2019, bilateral goods imports and exports between Colombia and China totaled us $8.59 billion, up 12.9%. Colombia’s exports to China totaled us $2.40 billion, up 26.3%, accounting for 10.2% of Colombia’s total exports, up 2.3 percentage points. Colombia’s imports from China totaled us $6.19 billion, up 8.4 percent, accounting for 20.3 percent of Colombia’s total imports, up 0.5 percentage points. Costa rica’s trade deficit was $3.78 billion, down 0.5 percent.

As of July, China is Colombia’s second largest source of imports and the second largest export market.
